Based in Bucharest for nearly 6 years now, Colin Lovering is very settled into Romanian life. In 2011, Colin set up Achieve International in Romania. He is a teacher at the University of Bucharest and regularly supports young Romanians in their transition from student to business life. Colin has previously trained CEO’s, Executives, Department Managers, Sales people and hundreds of professionals across the world.

Daniel Kearvell is currently Managing Director of DHL Express Romania, a position he has occupied since 2012.
Prior to taking up this position, Daniel has worked in various leadership positions for DHL, most recently in the Middle East, where he was DHL Express Country Manager in Qatar, and Programme Manager for the EEMEA Region, based in Dubai. Daniel holds an MBA from Warwick University in the UK, and a BA (Hons) in History and Russian from Nottingham University.

Neil McGregor is the managing partner of McGregor & Partners SCA, the law firm in Romania and Bulgaria which is associated with the international firm Stephenson Harwood. He is a British commercial solicitor who has worked in Romania and its neighbouring countries since 1996. He is a member of the Bucharest Bar and is also a registered foreign lawyer in Bulgaria.
Corina has been the legal representative of Gleeds Romania, a member of the BRCC since 2002. She was elected a Board Director in October 2012. Since 2005, Corina has acted as Administrator of Gleeds Romania, a British construction consultancy company active in Romania since 2000. Her current position involves managing projects from both a practical and a legal perspective, as she has overseen the company’s development from a foreign consultant in Romania with one project on site to a firm with branches in Albania and projects under construction in Turkey.
Florina Tanase joined Vodafone Romania at the end of 2011 as Senior Director of Legal and External Affairs and a member of the executive management team. She is also a member of the Vodafone Romania Foundation board.
Florina has an EMBA from Tiffin University & Bucharest University and obtained International Practice Diplomas in Mergers & Acquisitions and in Business Organisations from the International Bar Association and College of Law of England and Wales. She has a bachelor’s degree in law and a master’s degree in EU law.
In July 2008, James joined the CertAsig Executive Board as Deputy General Manager and became Chief Executive Officer in January 2010. James is President of the Board. James has a BSc. (Hons) degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Edinburgh and Ecole Supérieure d’Agriculture d’Angers. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Board Director of the British Romanian Chamber of Commerce.
Lucian is a founding partner of Mares / Danilescu / Mares. He has more than 16 years of practice, out of which 13 years he was a member of Zamfirescu Racoti Predoiu, being a partner within this law firm since 2007. Lucian is involved in strategic infrastructure projects with a focus on port operation. He rendered advice for significant projects regarding regulatory framework for port operations, ports management bodies, port developments, European port services legal environment, and port concessions.
Nicolas Georghiades was born in Nicosia Cyprus in 1971. He has obtained a BA in Accounting and Financial Management from Essex University as well an MSC in Internal Audit and Management from City Business School. He is the COO and Director of the Alison Hayes Group, one of the leading UK companies designing and manufacturing clothes for the Top UK Retailers. The company has a significance presence in Romania, Bulgaria and Vietnam.
Nicolas Georghiades is a non executive director at the Cyprus Telecommunication Authority (Cyta) as well as a number of other private companies with significant presence in UK, Romania, and Cyprus. He is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts Manufactures and Commerce.

With a strong commercial background in FMCG sector, Sylwia held number of strategic roles in brand, sales and category management in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe in GSK. For the past two years, Sylwia was Head of Marketing Oral Health and OTC for Central & Eastern Europe”.
Madalina has joined KPMG in 1999 as a Tax Consultant, and she is currently a Partner with KPMG in Romania, heading the People Services practice, which covers a whole range of Tax, Employment Law and Advisory services addressing Human Resources, Payroll and other related areas, offering integrated services to Human Resources functions.
Madalina graduated the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, and is a member of the Romanian Chamber of Tax Consultants.
Markus is the new General Manager of the 2 Rezidor properties, the Radisson Blu and the newly opened Park Inn by Radisson in Bucharest with a total of over 700 four & five star hotel rooms and apartments. He has 25 years of international experience as a hotel executive in ten countries across EMEA and APAC, the vast majority with Hilton Worldwide. Markus is Swiss and a graduate from the Lausanne Hotel School (EHL) in Switzerland
Shajjad Rizvi first came to Romania in 1990 just after the revolution. Resettling in Cluj Napoca, Shajjad set up the British Business Group Transilvania, which recently joined with BRCC. Shajjad has successfully led for-profit and non-profit organisations, he co-founded the Little People’s children’s charity, the most awarded NGO in Romania which provides daily services to children, teenagers and young adults being treated for cancer in all major treatment centres in Romania. Shajjad is also the executive chairman for the Duke of Edinburgh Award program in Romania and also a founding member of Youth Cancer Europe, Europe’s leading youth cancer organisation.
“A business lawyer and insolvency practitioner, Lecturer Professor Diana Deleanu has been teaching law since 2002.
Her practice focuses on cross-border issues.”
Andrei has worked in the IT sector from Cluj for the last 15 years, starting his career in a company from Brinel Group and spending the last 8 years in Endava, one of the fastest growing IT companies in the region, having more than 3500 full time employees.
In his present role as a Delivery Partner, in Endava, he is responsible for managing the delivery of services for clients in US, Northern Europe, Western Europe and Central and Eastern Europe. Andrei has joined the Endava team in 2008, having a significant contribution in the management and growth of the company, regionally and internationally.
Dean moved to Romania in 2013 as he set up another division of Salus Controls in Cluj-Napoca to service the Romanian market. Dean is European Managing Director and in charge of multiple P&L’s across Europe. European Headquarters based in UK, Dean, with his EU team is continuing to grow SALUS brand and develop in more and more countries.”
Paula Tibre is the Director of Cluj Office for PaddyPower Betfair, being responsible for the strategy and the operations of the largest delivery center in the group with over 550 employees. She has an experience of 13 years in the technology sector playing strategic roles in delivery management, product management, commercial and location operations. Paula has a Computer Science degree from the Babes Bolyai University and has been with Betfair Romania Development since 2007 when the operation in Cluj was established.
Ciprian Dragoş Sandu
Ciprian is the Senior Public Affairs Manager of Provident Financial Romania, since March 2017. With more than 10 years experience in the governmental field & public affairs, Ciprian possess an in-depth knowledge of both domestic and European institutional architecture and decision-making process. Before joining Provident Financial Romania, Ciprian served in government bodies, public affairs consultancy and the Brewers of Romania association. His educational background includes a bachelor degree in public administration and a master degree in European integration from the National School of Political and Administrative Studies. Furthermore, he completed several courses in Diplomacy, Foreign Policy, European Affairs and Management.

Adrian Vicol, Regional Export Manager
Adrian is delivering a project initiated by the UK’s Department for International Trade that covers 10 countries in Central and Eastern Europe and focuses on converting regional export opportunities into actual sales for British companies.
