Începând 1 octombrie 2021, majoritatea cetățenilor Uniunii Europene (UE), ai Spațiului Economic European (SEE) și ai Elveției vor avea nevoie de un pașaport valabil pentru a intra în Regatul Unit, cu excepția cazului în care:
✔️ s-au înregistrat sau se află în procesul de înregistrare a statutului de rezident („Settled status”/„Pre-Settled Status”) în cadrul EU Settlement Scheme;
✔️ au drepturile protejate în temeiul Acordurilor privind Drepturile Cetățenilor.
Odată cu schimbările ce intră în vigoare astăzi, cărțile de identitate nu vor mai fi acceptate pentru călătorii în Marea Britanie, cu excepția cazurilor mai sus menționate. Oricine călătorește în Regatul Unit va
avea nevoie de un pașaport valid pentru a intra pe teritoriul britanic.

As of 1 October 2021, most citizens of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland will need a valid passport to enter the United Kingdom, unless:
