Ioana is an M&A/transactional lawyer at origin (more than 10 years at NNDKP, a Romanian-US top 3 law firm), builder of the legal infrastructure at UiPath up to taking the company to IPO in the US (as Global Corporate VP for 4 years) and currently General Counsel at MultiversX. She is specialised in M&A, commercial and corporate law, blockchain regulations, contracts, regulatory and in other various legal areas. Ioana’s focus these days resides in assisting start-ups to be properly equipped and protected from a legal perspective by using lessons learned from UiPath and also investment funds (VCs, PEs) on various points: due diligence, structuring of the investment, shareholders’ protection etc. Also, the amount of deals negotiated and closed over the 15 years of experience in this field equipped her with solid business and commercial skills being suited to also act as an M&A advisor or to be consulted on other related matters including acces to a network of companies, investors, start-ups. Ioana is also currently member of the board of directors of several companies, including in the financial services industry and of advisory committees, in Romania and abroad.
