The Turkish-based biscuit manufacturer, ETI, has recently inaugurated the second phase of the factory in Craiova: a warehouse of 4,176 sqm. Optim Project Management has provided General Design services and was also responsible for obtaining the Building Permit.

The company has a fruitful collaboration with the Turkish investor, beginning with 2014, when ETI started the 40 million EUR investment in a 21,500 sqm production unit, representing the first phase of this important industrial project, for which Optim PM also undertook the Full Design, Permitting, Cost Management & Construction Supervision services.

We are extremely happy to see a growing demand from new factories that generate not only new investments, but also new jobs in the Romanian economy. Due to its large expertise in the area, Optim PM helps industrial investors to deliver efficient and qualitative projects”, said David Evans, General Manager of Optim PM.

This is ETI’s first factory outside Turkey and is now employing around 350 persons, becoming the biggest employer in the sweets industry.
