Rezolv Energy is a clean energy producer which is building a multi-gigawatt portfolio of renewable energy projects in Central & South Eastern Europe. Backed by Actis, a leading global investor in sustainable infrastructure, Rezolv already has well over 2GW being prepared for construction through four large-scale projects in Romania and Bulgaria. Two are solar plants (Dama Solar in north-west Arad County which, at 1,044MW, will be the largest solar project anywhere in Europe once it is operational, and St. George, a 229MW project in north-eastern Bulgaria) and two are wind (the 600MW Dunarea East & West farms in Constanța County, and the 450MW VIFOR project in Buzău County).
The energy produced by these plants will be sold direct to companies through long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
Rezolv intends for its projects to set a standard for the responsible development of renewable energy projects in this region which others will be inspired to follow. Its plans for each project are shaped by the company’s sustainability strategy, which has been built on industry best practice and adheres to international standards, including the Equator Principles and the International Finance Corporation (IFC)’s Environmental and Social Performance Standards.
