We work with more than 800 stores for whose customers we grant the right to avoid double taxation by the VAT refund.
Tax Free service in Romania means VAT refund for goods bought from our country and exported to non-EU countries.
The value of purchased goods must exceed 175 Euros.
Only purchases made from authorized Tax Free Shops benefit of VAT refund.
VAT refund is available if the non-UE customer leaves the EU territory within 90 days from the time of the purchase.
Proof of exit from EU territory is given by the invoice and VAT refund document stamped by the Customs office.
Customers have 3 options for getting the VAT refund: in cash, at the VAT refund office in Henri Coanda Bucharest International Airport, by bank transfer, or from the store.
