International British School of Bucharest gladly takes part this year as well at the tree planting weekend together as a worthy community project at a time when global warming is a key issue. By planting 6700 trees, their goal is to help in making a positive difference regarding our planet.
Asociatia Principele Nicolae will be providing all the necessary equipment and the trees, with portable toilets also available on site. All they need is some willing and able helping hands. We would, however like to encourage all those participating, and even those who are not, to contribute to this charity to ensure the work continues. Borsec will provide the water and IBSB will bring tables that can be used by those attending to place their items of food for PTF buffet to turn this tree planting weekend into a lovely family event. We are asking each family to contribute something to the picnic, so that you can plant some trees, eat a little, and enjoy some quality family in nature doing something positive for the environment and good for our wellbeing.
