MediHelp International – the most important private health insurance provider in Central and East Europe, has appointed Atilla Dér in the position of Corporate Sales Director of MediHelp International, starting June 2019. The impressive experience gained along the years in fields of management, sales, business development and marketing in companies including: HMD Global, Microsoft, Nokia, Vodafone, Reckitt Benckiser, along with remarkable results determined his co-optation in the international team of MediHelp.
The four countries where MediHelp International is present, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and Poland, represent one of the most important markets within East and Central Europe, and the appointment of Attila Dér constitutes the most suitable solution for adapting to new trends of consumption in this area. Private health insurance is a dynamic field, that must keep up with the specific needs of the beneficiaries, and the challenge of the new Corporate Sales Director is to facilitate access to MediHelp products through all sales channels from these emerging markets. In his new role, Attila will ensure a sustainable growth of the customer portfolio and will contribute significantly to the consolidation of MediHelp presence in all these countries.
  The position of Corporate Sales Director requires vast experience gained at an international level and detailed knowledge of the specific and challenges from this industry in Eastern and Central Europe. The experience gained throughout his career in executive roles creates the ideal context so that the actual challenges generated by the particularities of the private insurance market are not just be met, but exceeded.
