We, at Autism Voice Association (formerly ATCA), have been doing this for 11 years for autistic children, their parents, teachers and psychologists from around the country. We teach children how to live in Romanian society and teach adults how to recuperate children and young people with autism from all around the country through specialized programs, international training, workshops and scientific materials. But we can not do it alone. We need people and companies to help us.
Starting 2nd of May, we want to start a new series of School Integration Workshops for all our 170 autistic children within Autism Voice centers in Bucharest.
To succeed in developing these workshops, we need your support to buy:
– new toys (puzzles, board games, balls, cars, trenches, dolls, role-playing games);
– arts & crafts materials (plasticine, watercolors, brushes, decorative elements, glue, glitter, colored pencils, pencils);
– story books for ages 2-5 years and ages 5-10;
– manuals for kKindergarten and Primary School exercises (reading, writing, aritmatics, science)
– 2 laptops;
– stationery materials (laminated sheets, color paper, blank paper);
– puppet theater materials (dolls, theater frames).
Our School Integration Workshops are focused on teaching children with autism how to react in class, how to interact with educators and colleagues, how to work in the team, and especially how to be preschool and school children.
If you want to help us by adopting a school integration workshop for autistic children, you can either purchase the above-mentioned materials (someone from us will pick them up from you or you can bring them directly to one of our centers) or you can redirect up to 20% of your profit or income tax, where the expense is deductible, and we’ll buy the things we need for this program.
Autism Voice Association is accredited for social services for children and young people with autism, and has been registered in the ANAF Registry of Non-profit Entities/ Religious Establishments. The validation of our registration will be active starting on April 25, 2019.
