Constanța County Council has issued the order to begin the construction works based on the technical design developed by Concrete & Design Solutions (CDS) for the construction of a new building for the Mother and Child Health Department within the “Sf. Apostol Andrei” County Emergency Clinical Hospital. This project will bring significant improvements to the healthcare infrastructure, addressing the needs of all the patients in the region.

This large-scale, community-focused project, developed in partnership with Concelex S.R.L., Concelex Engineering S.R.L., Palex Construcții Instalații S.R.L., along with the Constanța County Council, incorporates the most modern concepts and solutions to create a facility that combines both functional efficiency and highest industry standards.
The new building will be equipped with 350 beds, increasing the healthcare capacity to serve 194,325 patients annually. The medical structure will include 274 beds for continuous hospitalization, 39 beds for day care, 64 beds for ICU, an operating block with 9 operating rooms, and 6 delivery rooms. The total built-up area will be 42,420 sqm. The construction will meet the near zero energy building standards ensuring high energy performance.
