The British Romanian Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce the 4th Edition of the BRCC AWARDS GALA, recognizing the champions of 2025 and 2026. This year, we invite our members and partners to join us for a truly inspiring celebration that highlights the vision, commitment, and resilience shaping the future of British–Romanian business relations. This edition’s theme, “Business with Purpose “, focuses on how businesses are redefining success by balancing growth with impact. We will celebrate values-driven leadership, ethical innovation, inclusive growth, and socially responsible initiatives that place people and planet at the heart of the business model.
Our Awards Ceremony will take place on the 2nd of December 2026 at JW Marriott, Bucharest where we will be celebrating those BRCC members who have truly excelled in 2025 and 2026.

Who should apply?
- The awards are open to BRCC members active in the UK and Romania, and we encourage businesses from all sectors to apply, regardless of their size or current resources
- New members joining by December 2026 will also be considered, pasted members won’t be considered
- The initiative(s) put forward in the application must have taken place in Romania and/or in the UK to be considered applicable
- BRCC membership is required to apply for the award categories. Companies may submit applications for more than one category, provided the entries align with their profile and current projects.
- The Gala allows affiliated companies of jury members to apply for a particular category. Yet, the Jury Member is precluded from adjudicating in that specific category to maintain fairness and transparency
Can I apply to several categories?
Each initiative can only be entered for one award category. If an organization wishes to apply for more than one category, they can do so but should submit a different project for each category.
What happens after you submitted your application?
- BRCC Team will notify you once the application and/or project is submitted
- Afterwards, the applications will be reviewed by our jury who will shortlist 3 companies per category depending on the importance and impact of the project
- The winners will be announced during the Awards Celebration on 2nd of December 2026 at JW Marriott Bucharest
Master of Ceremony
Robert Uzuna – BRCC Chairman
Robert Uzuna is Vice President for Corporate Affairs of Ursus Breweries, leader of the Romanian beer market. With a solid background in diplomacy and corporate world, his expertise spans from International Relations, Public Affairs & Strategic Communication to ESG and Sustainability. Robert’s understanding of the Romanian & EU business environment has fostered a proven track record of delivering key business strategies, including through various business associations as leader thereof or contributing member. Robert holds a PhD in Economics, a Master’s degree from Cambridge University, UK, and is a fellow of ECESP – Georgetown University, School of Foreign Service, Washington D.C. His other interests include a membership of the Association of Financial-Banking Analysts from Romania and an associate lecturer position with University of Bucharest. Robert is Board member of ReadyNationRo, affiliated with ReadyNation International, an organization that brings together Romanian business people who believe in the benefits of early education for prosperity and in the importance of investing today in the future.
AWARDS GALA JURY MEMBERS:
Mihai Marinescu – Business Transformation Director at EY Romania and Moldova
Mihai is a director on BRCC’s board since 2019, where he helps promote commercial connections between Romania and the UK. After completing his bachelor degree in Business Administration at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, his life journey took him to New York, where he spent 7 years in Management Consulting, helping large organizations better execute their strategy. After that, he moved to London where he spent 8 years working on major transformation projects in the investment banking industry, before returning to Bucharest in 2018 and joining EY Romania. Since then, Mihai is EY Romania’s Business Transformation Director, where he oversees the successful execution of strategic internal changes.
Tomasz Modzelewski – CEO of Farmavet Group
Paul Dudau – Public Affairs Director at EVRYO Power Group
Paul, Public Affairs Director EVRYO Power Group, with over 15 years of experience in public policy acquired in the fields of energy, health and telecommunications.
Paul is responsible for building and implementing the Public Affairs strategy for Distributie Energie Oltenia (EVRYO Group) with electricity distribution activities for 1.5 million customers.
Previously Paul was responsible for building and implementing the Medtronic Government Affairs and Market Access Strategy for Romania and the Republic of Moldova, direct involvement in the company’s public policy strategies at the CEE level; managed the policy strategy for Vodafone and Liberty Global, leading primary and secondary legislation projects. Represented the Romanian IT&C industry in relations with the Government and political leaders to build the optimal legislative and financial framework.
Co-Founder of the Social Incubator, NGO in the area of social entrepreneurship for vulnerable groups in Romania.
