We prepare to celebrate the International Day of Sign languages on 23 Sept with an event at the British Council, where Deaf people will share about the significance of sign language in their life and how the community can help Deaf people enjoy their fundamental right and freedom of speech.
We would be honored if the Chamber would like to endorse this event and have a very short opening speech on the importance of diversity and inclusion in our society, if you think its convenient.
The celebration will include short stories from Deaf students, a Deaf choir signing songs and an art exhibition that will be hosted by the BC during the week.
