💡 Given the current situation, it is important to understand how working from home is affecting both the employee and the employer. The biological and economic effects of COVID-19 have been covered in a number of forums but it is time to talk about the human element, e.g. what is going on in our minds. Hays has invited HR experts from the corporate world and a sociologist for a live, virtual roundtable discussion to crack this topic together.

Sandor Bodnar – Managing Director Romania

SĂĄndor started his career in Southeast Asia working for a global HR consulting group, engaged with local and regional recruitment projects and business development activity.
Returning to Europe in 2013, he joined Hays Hungary as a Recruitment Consultant in the Engineering & Manufacturing sector and became Team Leader in the second year. Two years later as a Section Manager, he was responsible for technical recruitment segment in (Engineering & Manufacturing, IT & Telco) in Hungary and was tasked to launch the Construction & Property and Logistics & Supply Chain recruitment specialisms too. In 2018, as a Director for the Expert business line, taking over Accountancy & Finance, Sales & Marketing and Life Sciences, he was managing Hays Hungary’s all permanent specialist recruitment divisions.
In October 2018, Sándor shifted to Romania to launch Hays Group’s newest country of recruitment agency operations and manage the existing onsite recruitment (RPO) teams.
Native Hungarian, fluent in English and has a good command in French, obtained a Business degree from Budapest Business University.

Andreea Videanu –  HR Director

With an overall work experience of 19 years and 13 years in Human Resources field, Andreea has developed strong expertise in areas such as Recruitment, Performance Management, Talent Development, HR Auditing, Grading, Training, Employer Branding, Internal Communication, Employee Satisfaction & Engagement, Customer Service, Project Management. She led big projects of Change Management involving large volumes of Restructuring processes and shift of Organizational Cultures, being awarded with the title of Cultural Ambassador and agent of change.

Currently, Andreea holds the position of HR Director being part of the Romanian board team for SERVIER Pharma, an international and independent pharmaceutical company governed by a non-profit foundation, with headquarters in Suresnes, a leading force in Cardiology. Previous to that, Andreea worked in Genpact, formerly a General Electric Division, on the position of Senior Human Resources Manager where she led a team of HR Business Partners ensuring the HR Management & Delivery for 800 employees in Romania and several EU locations. Andreea’s professional experience is both Romanian and International, she was a member of HR Executive Leadership Team of Europe in Deutsche Telekom, Bonn, Germany, where she led specific programs for Europe countries meant to enhance diversity and organizational performance through people development and motivation and to prepare the workforce and management for the business challenges. In addition, Telekom Romania, Hudson Romania – HR Consultancy and Orange are other companies where Andreea worked, as well.

Andreea holds a Bachelor Degree in Applied Modern Languages in Business & Trade awarded by “Babes-Bolyai” University from Cluj-Napoca.

Monica Mardare – Human Resources Director, Luxoft Romania

With 20 years of experience in the field of Human Resources, Monica has contributed to policies and practices design aimed at increasing the commitment and performance, as well as the development and retention of talents. She has implemented internal training programs for middle and top management, for creating a managers pool, with new skills and vision.
In recent years, she has been directly involved in establishing organizational development strategies and operational integration of new locations in the US and Europe, in line with global culture and practices. She led the organizational culture change initiative, by defining a new set of values, model of competences and leadership profile.She is a graduate of the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications in Bucharest, with a Master’s degree in Applied Economics at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Vienna.

 

Andra Adam – Manager at Webhelp

Andra ADAM, Recruitment Manager at Webhelp Romania, joined the company 15 years ago, when she was a student and her journey with Webhelp has developed into a strong career with a team that has given he the possibility to grow, learn and progress. She is a results-oriented person, a young enthusiast of Human Resources Management with strong people skills acquired during her roles as project manager and team leader. As a Recruitment Manager, during the last two years, she developed expertise about the employment market, both nationally and internationally, and substantial insight on recruitment sources and how to adapt them depending on client’s requirements.

 

 

 

IstvĂĄn HORVÁTH – Head of the Research Institute on Romanian National Minorities

 

István is professor at the Faculty of Sociology and Social Work at the Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj Napoca.
He is also head of the Research Institute on Romanian National Minorities, a romanian  public  institution located in Cluj. Professor Horvåth has, among other topics, researched and published extensively on international migration and labour market.
