International cricket returns this week, as Romania’s national women’s team takes on national sides from 2022 winners Greece, Malta and Isle of Man, in the second edition of the Women’s Continental Cup.

 

The three-day program will see a total of eight games being played over three days, comprising six round-robin matches and playoffs on Sunday. Action begins on Friday morning, with the first match, Isle of Man v Greece, beginning at 09.00.

 

Romania’s round robin games are:

V Isle of Man, at 16.15 on Friday 4th August

V Greece, at 09.00 on Saturday 5th August

V Malta, at 16.15 on Saturday 5th August

 

Playoff finals on Sunday 6th August take place at 09.00 and 12.45.

All matches take place at Cricket Romania’s flagship ground at Moara Vlasiei, 35 kilometres north of Bucharest.
