British Council together with Penta International (one of the leading independent providers of training, consultancy and inspection services in the United Kingdom and overseas) and IntegralEdu (the most important educational consultant in Romania for studies abroad) invites you to the event What is a British School? How international schools meet current requirements and why it matters, which will take place within the World Education Fair in Bucharest .

The reason for running the workshop is to discuss the British schools in Romania and across the world. We will introduce Dr Mark Evans, Chief Inspector of Penta International and one of the most experienced school inspectors working around the world. He will talk about his work, that of Penta and the role in British Schools played by the Department of Education and OFSTED in the UK

Topics covered by Dr. Evans include the benefits of being accredited by the UK government as a British school overseas (BSO) as well as an introduction into how an inspection team looks at learning, teaching, health and safety, personal development, and leadership.

I will be pleased to welcome you in person to the event which will be held on 29 February in the Taygete Hall of Radisson Blu Hotel from 10:00.

To register your representatives to the event please send names and full contact details to Mr. Gabriel Ivan, at gabriel.ivan@britishcouncil.ro
