Bucharest, October 31, 2019 – Vodafone is the first telecom operator in Romania to offer the automated enrollment in the Apple Business Manager Program (ABM), formerly known as Apple Device Enrollment Program, to its business customers.

The Apple Business Manager provides a streamlined way to deploy qualifying corporate-owned Apple devices purchased directly from Vodafone (as an eligible Apple reseller).  Apple Business Manager online service enables business customers to automate the enrollment of Apple products within Mobile Device Management (MDM) application used by companies.

The key benefit of this service is the fact that it significantly reduces both time and cost for IT and users, as there is a zero-touch experience. Business customers will benefit from seamless and automated wireless device setup and enrollment in the organization’s Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform. When devices are activated, they’re automatically configured with the appropriate settings. There’s no need for IT to physically access each device to complete the setup. Each device is correctly set up, secured and controlled. In addition, this service enables mandatory devices management enrollment that can’t be removed by users.

“Nowadays, mobility is considered to be highly important in the business environment. Most companies have ongoing digital transformation strategies that enable their staff to work remotely, from anywhere, at any time. However, mobility can increase potential vulnerabilities or data losses for any company’s mobile devices. Giving these challenges, we launched the Apple Business Manager device enrollment service to help our business customers maintain security, manage deployments and promote their productivity. This service is offered free of charge to our Vodafone business customers”, stated Dinu Dragomir, Vodafone Global Enterprise Director.
