The 9th edition of the “Intellectual Property Conference” will take place on 15-16 November, in the Constantin Stoicescu Hall of the Palace of the Faculty of Law of the University of Bucharest. The conference is dedicated to national and European quality systems, a field of constant growth in industry, agriculture and tourism services.
During the first day of the conference – Friday, 15 November – between 15.00 – 17.30 – will take place the discussions of the panel “Vine and Wine Law | In vino veritas: the protection of quality and the quality of protection“, organized with the support of STOICA & ASOCIAȚII.
The moderator of the panel will be Cristiana I. Stoica, Founding Partner – STOICA & ASOCIAȚII.
The speakers invited are:
– Jean-Baptiste Thial de Bordenave, Partner, MINERAL Avocats, Bordeaux – France, President of International Wine Lawyers Association (AIDV) – “Wine labelling and traditional terms in the European Union”;

– Andreea Stoica, Managing Partner – STOICA & ASOCIAȚII – “Wine quality protection systems – a general overview”;
– Dragoș Bogdan, Managing Partner – STOICA & ASOCIAȚII – “Wine and geography: reflections in ECJ case-law”
At this panel, simultaneous Romanian – English translation will be provided.

The Intellectual Property Conference is organized annually by the law faculties of the University of Bucharest and the Western University of Timișoara and is an opportunity to inform practicing specialists in the field of intellectual property and to deepen the mechanisms of intellectual property through from the civil law institutions perspective.
