The software company, Roweb, headquartered in Romania, continues its development strategy established for 2022. However, aspects such as: increasing the number of employees, developing the client portfolio, and participating in tech and career events are some of the most important highlights in the company’s business agenda.

Roweb’s activity in the first half of 2022: the most important aspects 

  • Participation in the MWC Barcelona  – an event that helped the company understand the trends in the mobile applications effervescent industry. 

It was important for Roweb to be there among global mobile operators, device manufacturers, technology providers, vendors, and content owners interested in technology. But, despite networking, Roweb had the opportunity to present its portfolio and share knowledge with people who have the same goals: occupying an important place in a booming domain.

  • Participation in GPeC Summit 2022 – one of the most important e-Commerce events in Romania. The event also included attending a conference where the Roweb delegation had the opportunity to improve their knowledge about clients’ digital journeys.

  • Adding a new client to the portfolio. The client is from the UK and is part of the HR industry. He chose to work with the Romanian company due to Roweb’s previous experience developing HR applications and projects.
  • Organising an internship. Although this career event is a traditional one for Roweb, due to the pandemic, in 2021, the internship activity took place online. But in 2022, things returned to normal, and Roweb had more than 250 students eager to participate in the experience.

Roweb’s activity in the second half of 2022: the most important aspects 

  • Growing the e-Commerce portfolio. Currently, Roweb obtains 10% of the turnover in the e-Commerce segment and aims at an annual increase of about 30%.

  • Attending three other important events: a Dubai technical industry meeting with more than 400 exhibitors – GITEX GLOBAL, an IT Solutions and software business dedicated forum – Swiss IT Forum(s) 2022, a prominent American mobile industry event – MWC 2022, Las Vegas. 
  • Opening a new office. For the UK, Roweb plans to open an office that will be both a point of contact for companies in the area interested in custom software development services and a workspace for local developers who want to work from the office.
  • Investments in technical and human resources. Roweb will continue to invest in modern technical equipment and work environment optimisation (for example, creating social spaces and resuming team-building events), as they are essential for the team.
