In addition to the tech and business events, the Romanian software development company, Roweb, plans a series of career events and initiatives for the community.

Below, you can find some examples.

What’s next
  • The first event of the following period is Jobs4IT – a job fair dedicated to students from the tech faculties in Craiova.
  • Then the company’s attention will focus on the summer practice. The event includes a selection process and represents a career event that the company has been organizing and improving for over eight years.
  • The summer practice is followed by an internship program that usually lasts three months and is paid. Among the graduates of these programs, over 80% remain as part-time or full-time employees in the Roweb team.
  • Regarding the initiatives to support the local community, Roweb plans to sponsor an IT laboratory at the University of Pitesti. It will provide students with new equipment to help them acquire the necessary knowledge to face the challenges of an IT career.

“Those who want a job in programming, in general, and in Roweb, in particular, must know that the chances of employment depend only on the attitude, training and ability to learn the technologies we work with – modern technologies, used in industry.”

Gabriel Rosu – Managing Partner

Other employer branding initiatives supported by Roweb:

Open Doors and Job Shadow Days events are also frequent initiatives within the company, which allow young people to visit the Roweb offices and meet the team.

Job fairs take place every year. For example, Roweb participated in the Jobs4IT edition last year and in a job fair dedicated to young people who want to pursue a career in Media. On this occasion, the Roweb team wanted to highlight that there are jobs for both development and support departments within the company.

Regarding the community support events, Roweb sponsored the TehnoZ Lightning Bolts robotics team last year. Thus, TehnoZ participated in the World Robotics Championship in Rio de Janeiro.
