In the context in which more and more employees choose to return to the office, Roweb, Roweb, a Romanian end-to-end software services company, decided to invest over 1 million lei in expanding the working and socializing spaces by approx. 200 square meters.

Currently, the majority of Roweb employees choose to work hybrid, and the company estimates that from the beginning of next year, at least 75% will choose this work system.
The investment complements Roweb’s growth plans: last year, the company completed the expansion and development of the new office building in Pitesti, following an investment of approx. 3.7 million lei (60% European funds + 40% own funds).
If the project completed in 2021 is reflected both in the actual construction of the building and in a series of technological equipment, the new investment of 1 million lei, to be made exclusively from own funds, aims at expanding the current buildings and creating new office and social spaces.
“In the context of the end of the pandemic, a lot of people started coming to the office by rotation, several days a week, and from 2023 we estimate a percentage of at least 75% of employees who will opt for the hybrid system.
To ensure current and motivating conditions for those who return to the office, but also to accommodate the ongoing growth from year to year – we decided to make new investments in office and social spaces”, said Mirel Ionescu, Roweb Managing Partner.
1200 square meters of offices, meeting rooms, recreation, and socializing spaces
The building currently has 75 workspaces (meeting rooms, recreational spaces, and a data center), and the offices are designed to provide comfort and create a modern atmosphere.
The construction of two new floors in the original building, thus achieving a more unified overall image, monobloc type, will provide the necessary space for all the Pitesti teams and those from other cities who want to work from the company headquarters.

Roweb’s next investment will be in the recreation and socializing spaces
The first level will be an open space – a work area for a larger team of programmers. The second one will integrate an open area, a circulation terrace intended for recreation, and a closed part, including a meeting room, kitchen, and social space.
