The Romanian software development company Roweb organised one of the most important employer branding events last week: Team Building 2023. The meeting took place on the seaside, in one of the most popular resorts on the Black Sea: Mamaia.
The beautiful weather this early autumn favoured the meeting of remote employees with the departments from Pitesti, Bucharest and Craiova in a relaxed setting, which left room for socialisation, interaction and fresh ideas.
The atmosphere was perfect for volleyball, beach walks, refreshing pool baths, and swimming in the sea’s spectacular waves.
Many Roweb plans in the next period
In addition to socialising, the meeting at the sea was the perfect opportunity to highlight Roweb’s plans for this year and for 2024.
Here are some examples:
- the continuous development of the software development team by opening new positions within the company and through internship career opportunities;
- strengthening relations with technical faculties through educational support initiatives;
- the diversification of technologies for the development of projects, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence;
- increasing the quality of services offered by obtaining new certifications for software developers;
- the diversification of the services offered through the association with a Performance Marketing agency and through in-house software solutions;
- participation in business & tech events to help the team keep up with the trends in the dynamic industry;
- the inauguration of the two floors of the central headquarters in Pitesti, which will represent the meeting place for extended teams and include relaxation areas.
And it is not the first time that Roweb has chosen the seaside as a meeting destination. For example, the 2014 Team Building was organised in Varna, Bulgaria. In 2018, another destination close to the sea, the Danube Delta, hosted the Roweb team meeting and party.
Also, this year’s Team Building is one of many employer branding events that the software development company had planned. Soon, the focus will shift to national and international events. But the Roweb representatives will come back with details.
