I inform you that the Romanian National Agency for Fiscal Administration has published, on its website, a notification about the Brexit impact.
Its content is as follows:
“The withdrawal process of the United Kingdom of Great Britain from the European Union (BREXIT) was completed on January 31, 2020.
Following the Withdrawal Agreement ratified by both parties, a transitional period will run from 1 February 2020 until December 31, 2020, during which the United Kingdom will continue to comply with the European acquis, including the European Union’s fiscal and customs policies.
During the transitional period, the United Kingdom will not participate in the decision-making mechanism and will no longer be represented in the EU institutions but will retain the rights and obligations of a Member State. These months, by the end of 2020, will allow the European Union and the United Kingdom to plan and prepare a new partnership for future relations.”
