For the past 15 years, at Angel Dog we have been dedicated to training guide dogs that empower visually impaired individuals to live with independence, safety, and confidence. Our beneficiaries come from all corners of the country and represent diverse backgrounds—but they all share one courageous decision: taking the first step toward a new life with a guide dog by their side.
Losing sight can happen to anybody. At any time. Suddenly or progressively. We saw firsthand how a guide dog can restore what was lost because of it.
Most of our beneficiaries are young people determined to live life on their own terms, free from reliance on others. With the emotional support and literal guidance of a trained guide dog, they can achieve just that.
In addition to guide dogs, we also train therapy dogs who bring comfort and emotional support to disabled children, seniors, and those who are ill. We believe deeply in the healing power of a dog’s love—because it can heal both the soul and the body.
