Kinstellar is delighted to announce that Marius Ezer has joined our Bucharest office as Partner and Head of the local Dispute Resolution Service Line. His appointment strengthens our dispute resolution capabilities in Romania and supports the continued growth of this service line on the local market. Marius joins a dedicated experienced Dispute Resolution team of six lawyers in Bucharest.
Marius brings 19 years of experience in dispute resolution, with a strong focus on complex insolvency proceedings, creditor rights and asset recovery, as well as sophisticated tax litigation. He has been a Partner with a leading reputable national firm since 2017, developing a strong track record in high-profile cases before the Romanian courts at all levels, as well as in domestic and international arbitration matters. His experience spans a broad range of sectors, including energy, agribusiness, automotive, real estate, retail and consumer goods.
His practice is complemented by extensive experience in labour litigation, including disciplinary actions, dismissal procedures, reinstatement claims, and disputes involving harassment, discrimination, or contractual breaches. He also advises real estate clients on projects governed by FIDIC contractual frameworks.
Marius is widely recognised for his deep sector knowledge and his ability to structure and manage complex matters. Clients commend him for his “great understanding of business issues and their legal implications, which he presents in court with the utmost eloquence” (Chambers Europe, 2025).
In addition to his legal practice, Marius is an Assistant Professor of Business Law and Fiscal Procedural Law at the Faculty of Law of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE).
