The 20th-anniversary edition of the Johann Strauss Festival will bring to the audience pieces that are not so often performed, as Strauss’ complete works include waltzes, polkas, quadrilles, and other dances. At the same time, we will honour the centenary of the great composer György Ligeti, as well as the 170th anniversary since the birth of the Romanian composer Ciprian Porumbescu, celebrated in 2023 in Romania and around the world.
