On Friday, August 9th, 2019, Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Airport, project managed by Optim Project Management, successfully opened its doors to guests.
Appointed by Apex Alliance in 2018, Optim PM supervised the construction of the second Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Romania. Just 150 metres away from Departures Terminal of Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport, the hotel is built on a land area of 3,340 sqm and has a total gross built area of approx. 14,200 sqm. Classed as a multifunctional building, it has a height regime of 1B+GF+3F.
As the Project Manager, Optim PM provided Construction Management services – managing a number of specialist contractors, Design and Cost Management, Site Inspection (Dirigentie de Santier) and Health & Safety Coordination. Additionally, Optim PM was also responsible for the FF&E procurement and installation as required by the brand standards and by design.
The hotel boasts 218 comfortable and spacious guest rooms, 92 parking places, an international restaurant and bar, meeting areas, conference rooms, 24-hour shop, self-service laundry, fitness area and courtyard. In addition to the hotel, there is also a wing dedicated to office facilities.
