Date:07/06/2023 12:00 pm
Location:Romanian Cultural Institute, London

British Romanian Chamber of Commerce, together with the Romanian Embassy in London is organizing on the 7th of June 2023 a conference on ESG and Sustainable actions from the private sector. The event will be taking place at the Romanian Cultural Institute and will be followed by a networking session.

About the conference:

It is 2023 and climate change has transcended its status as a purely scientific concern and has now become an undeniable reality,

To address the urgent need for climate action and environmental sustainability, it is essential for all actors in the public and private sectors, as well as civil society, to work together in a coordinated manner and develop an action plan.

A successful corporate strategy in today’s world must incorporate sustainability, requiring the integration of ESG standards and proactive climate action. This could involve initiatives aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, diversifying energy supply with renewable resources and CCS technologies, and developing recycling programs.

The transition towards a circular economy and climate neutrality that is both equitable and sustainable will require a joint effort between civil society and businesses, with compliance to policies and conditions imposed by the state. A lot of companies are following this trend and integrate their ESG strategies. Join our conference to find out what they are doing in 2023!
