One of the reasons why the Romanian software development company, Roweb, maintains long-term partnerships with its portfolio clients is that it offers them up-to-date solutions with intuitive functionalities.

This category also includes VMS 365, a client from the Human Resources industry, which chose to switch to a mobile-first application based on microservice architecture. The application has been updated to its fourth version, which is now called Bridge.

The decision to migrate to microservices brings fewer limitations in terms of development, and the project can continuously evolve by creating new functionalities without having to rewrite the entire application.

In addition, thanks to the migration to microservices, the new client benefits from reliability and scalability, and the implementation time of new functionalities is considerably reduced.

The VMS 365 project belongs to the company nGAGE, a well-known, award-winning company from Great Britain that has experienced rapid growth in a competitive industry.

nGage provides services from candidate recruitment to document management, training and support for recruiters.

Why did the Roweb client opt for such a solution?

The application has transitioned to the Bridge version due to the ever-changing needs of users. This change involved migrating from a monolithic architecture to a microservices-based one, which has improved the solution’s optimization for mobile devices.

More precisely, the client wanted to develop an activity management application that would ensure the transition to a SaaS-type solution and allow the management of a continuously growing and expanding client base.

The project’s latest version came with a rebranding that ensured it stayed in line with current market trends.

The new functionalities allow faster obtaining of reports and statistics from a single dashboard, a dedicated activity management module and customized settings for several countries.

The project enables the correct recording of data about the company’s activity and candidates, thanks to a reporting system with a modern and intuitive dashboard.

Moreover, the app has been moved to the Microsoft Azure Cloud for more flexibility and increased security.

Thanks to the new update, users can save time. And the automation can be done directly from a device that always comes in hand: the smartphone.
