Veterinary medicine in Romania is undergoing a rapid transformation. New emerging diseases, constantly updated treatment protocols, and the pressure of a demanding work schedule pose a real challenge for professionals in the field: how do you stay up to date on everything that matters without sacrificing your daily practice? VET GROWTH HUB is a continuing medical education project developed by Farmavet Group in response to this specific and well-documented need within the veterinary community.

Officially launched in January 2026, VET GROWTH HUB is a structured continuing professional development program offered in both online and in-person formats. The platform’s first webinar took place in February 2026 and was dedicated exclusively to avian diseases, one of the most in-demand topics among veterinarians in Romania. Since then, the platform has grown steadily, reaching over 500 participants, and is projected to exceed the 1,000-specialist mark by the end of the year. The content covers species-specific pathologies, prevention and treatment protocols, legislative updates, and information on newly introduced veterinary drugs, all presented in a structured, concise manner and focused on immediate practical application.

The program is primarily aimed at veterinarians, but it is also open to veterinary technicians and staff involved in animal welfare and management. All these groups share a common challenge identified by the Farmavet Group team following a careful analysis of the community: a lack of time. That is precisely why the VET GROWTH HUB format is designed to eliminate barriers to access. Sessions can be viewed regardless of location or work schedule, and the information is tailored to be immediately understood and applied in day-to-day work.

Within the Farmavet Group, the VET GROWTH HUB plays an essential strategic role: supporting the ongoing training and education of the veterinarians with whom Farmavet Distribution and Veterra collaborate. The platform showcases the latest scientific studies, offers training sessions dedicated to products from the Pasteur Filipești branch’s portfolio and those of other manufacturers on the market, and provides ongoing updates on developments in the field.

What sets the VET GROWTH HUB apart from other continuing education initiatives in Romania is its practical approach, focused on the real needs of clinicians. Session topics are selected based on the specific challenges encountered in veterinary practice, and the content is presented by veterinarians with relevant clinical and academic experience. The platform does not compete with universities or professional associations but rather complements them, bringing flexibility, currency, and accessibility where traditional formats fall short.

The project is coordinated by Dr. Sandra David, a veterinarian with experience in both companion animal and farm animal medicine. Her clinical and academic expertise is directly reflected in the quality of the VET GROWTH HUB training sessions, where theory and practice come together in an accessible, information-rich format that is relevant to the daily challenges faced by practicing veterinarians.

In the medium term, VET GROWTH HUB aims to expand its portfolio of educational programs, diversify the topics and pathogens covered, and strengthen collaborations with specialists and universities in Romania. In the long term, the goal is to become one of the leading centers for continuing veterinary education in the country—a go-to resource where professionals in the field can find not only up-to-date information but also an active community dedicated to clinical excellence.

Investing in continuing medical education is not just a competitive advantage, but a responsibility toward patients, clients, and a rapidly evolving profession. VET GROWTH HUB is Farmavet Group’s response to this responsibility. Veterinarians and specialists in the field are invited to access the available programs and become part of a community dedicated to genuine professional development.
