The webinars address topics in the field of digital transformation and target both legal professionals and those who want to learn more about the technical and legal implications of an efficient digital transformation.
The theme of the first event, held on June 10, 2021, was Types of electronic signature – risks vs. benefits and brought into discussion a wide range of practical, legal and technical issues, in order to clarify the notion of advanced electronic signature, by comparison with the qualified electronic signature, in terms of effects, benefits and risks of using one of the two types of signatures.
The moderator of the webinar, Dan Rareș Răducanu – Senior Partner, STOICA și Asociații, together with Costin Burdun– Deputy Director, certSIGN and Roxana Daskălu – Senior Associate, STOICA and Asociații, provided participants with theoretical information related to the technical aspects of creating and validating electronic signatures, as well as their legal coverage and compliance with national and European legislation in force, followed by a practical demonstration of the application and verification of the different types of electronic signatures on a document and answered the questions asked by the participants.
