The annual Ceremony of Remembrance will be held on Sunday 10 November 2024 at the Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery in Tîncăbeşti. This ceremony gives us an opportunity to reflect, alongside Allies and friends old and new, about those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country, in war as well as in peacetime.
The ceremony begins at 10:45. Guests are asked to arrive at the cemetery no later than 10:30. The ceremony will conclude by 11:30 am, after which there will be an opportunity for personal reflection and to walk the grounds.
If you would like to lay a wreath as part of the ceremony, we can provide a traditional poppy wreath for a donation of 250 RON in support of the Poppy Appeal charity, whose proceeds help ex-service personnel and their families.
