Thus, Roweb announces that the 2022 internship will take place at the company’s headquarters in Craiova and Pitesti.
After a year of an online internship, students will have the opportunity to meet face to face with their mentors. In addition, this career event is an opportunity for Roweb to find new developers for the Romanian team.

According to statistics from previous years, 85% of students selected for internships remain part-time or full-time Roweb employees.
The technologies studied during the practice program and deepened during the internship period are among the most modern, such as .NET, PHP, and this year also, Quality Assurance (Manual Testing).
The company aims to expand internships to other technologies and departments in the coming years, such as React or Angular.
These internship programs are usually run by three project coordinators and 15 mentors – senior developers who select internship participants and guide them throughout the program.
Starting this year, Roweb will use dedicated platforms for the selection process to facilitate evaluation and reduce response time.
According to the company’s representatives, the return to the physical format will bring more benefits to the students participating in the program: the faster and more efficient access to the learning resources and a learn-by-practice process thanks to the immediate proximity of the mentors. In addition, students will be able to communicate with mentors and ask questions that help them solve the tasks.
They will also be close to the software development teams, observing their daily activities, sharing experiences, and having an overview of the path they can take in their future IT career, which can be a source of motivation. Moreover, starting this year, all participants in the internship will be involved in real projects and teams, having contact with customers.
Roweb has been developing internship programs in Pitesti and Craiova since 2012. Most of the participants are students at the Faculty of Computer Automation and Electronics and the Faculty of Mathematics – Computer Science.
What happened at the 2021 internship?
First, there was a presentation of the projects and technologies used by the Roweb team of experts, and the interns received tasks to help them become familiar with the code and concepts.
Due to the project’s complexity, the first tasks for beginners involved identifying and fixing bugs. Then, the interns implemented small features, both front-end, and back-end.
Each task received by the students went through several phases: actual implementation, testing, code-review, writing documentation, pull-request, and release – all of which were done under the guidance of mentors.
