Business Review Awards 2025 | 20th Anniversary Edition. Celebrating Two Decades of Excellence in Romanian Business
The Business Review Awards Gala, Romania’s premier event celebrating business excellence, is set to mark its 20th anniversary on March 3, 2025, at JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel. With less than one week to go, anticipation is at an all-time high as the jury members are actively deliberating to determine this year’s winners. Additionally, the Popular Vote is open until Thursday, February 27, at 6 PM, inviting the public to have their say on Romania’s most outstanding business achievements.
This milestone edition brings together top executives, entrepreneurs, and leading organizations to celebrate excellence across 13 award categories, including Sustainability Project of the Year, Employer of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, and the 20th-anniversary special #BRA20 Legacy Awards. The Business Review Awards Jury Committee, a distinguished panel of industry leaders, ensures a rigorous and transparent evaluation process. Judging Procedure for the Business Review Awards 2025
The Business Review Awards 2025 follows a rigorous and transparent judging process to ensure fairness and excellence in recognizing Romania’s top business leaders and initiatives. The Jury is composed of esteemed senior professionals from the business community, who apply both qualitative and quantitative assessments in evaluating candidates. Their responsibility is to nominate, review, and vote for the most deserving winners in each category, adhering to eligibility criteria and assessment guidelines.
Judging Process: Three-Step Evaluation
The selection process includes three key stages:
- Nomination Stage:
- Nominations are submitted via an online form or email.
- Each jury member may propose up to three candidates per category.
- Jury members affiliated with nominated companies are excluded from voting in those specific categories.
- Shortlisting Stage:
- All nominees complete a standard application form to ensure consistency in evaluation.
- Using qualitative assessments, the top 5 to 8 nominees per category are shortlisted.
- The Newsroom compiles and forwards the official nominations eBook to the jury.
- Final Voting & Jury Meeting:
- The jury deliberates for 3 days.
- A final vote is cast to determine the winners.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, companies must:
- Have a minimum one-year performance history up to December 31, 2024.
- Demonstrate consistent and positive investment objectives aligned with the judging criteria of their chosen category.
The Popular Vote
In addition to the jury’s decision, Business Review readers have a direct say in the outcome. The popular vote, available across all 13 main categories, will contribute 50% of the final score, with the jury’s votes making up the remaining 50%.

All information regarding nominees remains strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to the public or third parties. The jury upholds the highest standards of integrity to ensure an objective and fair selection process.
