On Thursday, the 10th of October 2019, the British Romanian Chamber of Commerce organized for our Business Breakfast on Global Index of Economic Openness (GIEO) together with our key speakers at the London-based Legatum Institute.

Interesting debates on opportunities and challenges that Romania is facing ahead of the presidential elections in November and a couple of solutions on how increased economic openness can be realised across Romania in the following years based on their key findings.

During the discussion, Director of Policy Stephen Brien highlighted that good governance stands at the heart of an open and strong economy which allows trade, ideas and talent to flourish.

The feedback received after the event was truly positive and inspiring. Everyone was very pleased and considered the event a great success.
