British-Romanian Chamber of Commerce together with Cambridge School of Bucharest, British Football School and Salvation Army, invite you to British Community Day.
Get ready to have a jolly good time at British Community! This event is the perfect opportunity for families to come together and celebrate the vibrant British expat community and the King’s Coronation, all while supporting a great cause – the Salvation Army.
There will be a whole host of activities to keep the little ones entertained, including arts and crafts, face painting, sports masterclasses, and even photo booths to capture all the fun memories. The Duke of Edinburgh International Awards Romania will be leading some exciting activities for children throughout the day too!
For families with babies and toddlers, Baby Bounce Bucharest will be providing two classes (10.30 am & 12.30 pm). These workshops provide a great opportunity for expat families to meet each other and enjoy singing along with their little ones!
If you’re looking to take home a little piece of British culture, there will be plenty of British-themed businesses selling souvenirs, delicious food, and books. And, to really get you in the spirit, local businesses will be performing British-themed dances and songs on the main stage!
Don’t worry about getting peckish, there will be food trucks serving up both hot and cold refreshments throughout the day. Join us for a day of fun-filled festivities!

Event Timeline:
- 12th May: Vendours can park their vehicles and setup their tables after school hours. Tents and tables will be setup by the show organisers
- 8 AM: Doors open for vendours and final setup can take place
- 10 AM: Doors open for visitors
- 10:30 AM: Speeches and performances begin on stage (timetable to be finalised a month before)
- 2.30 PM: Last performance and end of event speech
- 3 PM: Event closes, and doors close. Stalls can pack up and leave
