The Bridging the Gap Series

As we build upon our existing Chamber relationships with Government, our new Bridging the Gap series for 2022 brings together businesses with Government agencies, stat boards and their partners to discuss topics of relevance and potential commercial interest to the business community. For businesses, this unprecedented access provides a platform for learning, discussion and engagement, while for Government the series will enable stakeholders to build deeper ties and on-the-ground knowledge from within our community.

WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND

As a small city-state with no hinterland, Singapore needs to plan carefully to optimise its limited resources to meet the needs of current and future generations. Ms Yvonne Lim, Group Director of Physical Planning at Urban Redevelopment Authority will talk about how Singapore takes a long-term approach to balancing the social, economic and environment considerations of urban development in planning for a more inclusive and sustainable future.

Ms Jean Ng, Executive Director of Attractions, Entertainment and Tourism Concept Development will talk about the active measures taken to ensure the industry’s viability during COVID-19. She will highlight key trends and opportunities for the future of travel and tourism and Singapore’s continued investments in the rejuvenation of tourism development projects. In particular, she will highlight the development of attractions in Jurong Lake District, to create unique experiences so that Singapore remains a top-of-mind destination.

All those interested are encouraged to join us live as this session will not be recorded for later release.
