BRCC will be organizing a webinar on the latest updates on Brexit on October 15th. It will be part of a series of webinars to keep our members informed on Brexit updates and to give our members guidance on how to prepare for change and engage and influence the United Kingdom’s future trading, legal, and regulatory positions. We aim to invite high level speakers to discuss on Brexit updates to keep our community both in the UK and Romania up-to-date on latest insight on this.

Cosmin Dincă – Global Trade Senior Advisor EY Romania

Cosmin is a senior consultant in the indirect tax practice within EY Romania. He started his career in 2010 in a Romanian transport company, focusing mainly on customs issues and the relationship with the customs authorities. He has over 10 years of experience in customs, international trade and excise duties, over 7 years in a Big 4 environment.

He has a master’s degree – MBA obtained from the Academy of Economic Studies – Faculty of International Economic Relations in Bucharest (2011)

 

 

Andrei Georgescu – Partner at Suciu Popa si Asociatii

Andrei is a Partner of Bucharest based law firm Suciu Popa si Asociatii.

He specializes in Romanian and EU competition law and advises extensively on areas of regulation related to competition law, State aid, regulatory & compliance. Over the years, Andrei has provided legal advice and representation to both national and international clients in a diversity of engagements comprising merger control, antitrust investigations and dawn-raids, antitrust litigation, distribution and franchise agreements in various economy sectors.

 

 

Dr. Raymond Davies – Senior International Strategist

Dr. Davies has over three decades of top level international supply chain experience within a full range of sectors including aero/space, construction, defence, energy, electronics/software, health/care and mining. Dr. Davies’s particular skill is in the planning and strategic leadership of creating new market opportunities resulting from geo-political opportunity. He returned home to the UK following the Brexit referendum ready for Britain’s return as a sovereign trading nation.
He sits on the Coalition for the Development of Romania Entrepreneurship Task Force, is the UK Board Member on the British American Business Council – Pacific Northwest and active in British politics with a focus on SME development and international trade.
