On July 15, BRCC has the pleasure to host an exclusive webinar with, Mr. Florin Cîțu, the Minister of Finance.
Minister Cîțu will be welcomed by our Chairman of the BRCC Board of Directors, Mr. Neil McGregor and Mr. Ciprian Sandu, Member of the Board of Directors. This will be an hour session facilitated by BRCC for its members.
The discussion will focus on COVID-19 recovery measures, taxation, doing business In Romania and other measures related to the business environment.

About the Speaker:
Florin Cîțu is a graduate of Grinnell College USA (1996), and has a master’s degree in economy at Iowa State University (2002), where he is currently a doctoral candidate in macroeconomics and international economics.
He worked as an economist with the National Bank of New Zealand (2001-2003) and the European Investment Bank (2003-2005). He worked as Chief-Economist (2006-2007) and Head of Financial Markets Department (2007-2011) with ING Bank Romania, and after, he worked as a consultant and economic analyst. He was elected Senator in Bucharest, in the 2016 parliamentary elections.
He was member and held various positions, including Chairman and Vice-Chairman in several Senate’s committees such as Budget&Finance, Economy and European Affairs. Cîţu is also Vicepresident of the ruling National Liberal Party (PNL) and was the leader of PNL’s Senate group before his appointment as minister of finance in 2019.
