An evening of art, music and generosity, through which, together, we can bring new works into the collections of the National Museum of Art of Romania.
WHY THIS EVENING
Every work that enters a public museum has behind it people who said “yes” at the right moment. Acquisition opportunities arise quickly and call for a prompt response. Through this evening, we aim to raise an initial sum of at least EUR 25,000, dedicated to acquisitions for the museum’s collections, so that we can respond promptly to the proposals of its specialists.
WHO WE ARE
The Friends of the National Museum of Art of Romania is an association that supports the museum and its collections. In 2025, the Association acquired and donated to the museum a 16th-century royal icon of the Deisis, and in 2026 it initiated the acquisition of a second icon. The Autumn Soirée at the Palace is our next step.
AN EVENING WITH SPECIAL GUESTS
We are honoured that an official delegation of the World Federation of Friends of Museums (WFFM), visiting Bucharest at that time, will join us for the evening.
