Pulse on Boards · Session 2: The Inner Life of a Decision

Date:25/02/2026 6:00 pm
Location:Artmark, CA Rosetti 5, Bucharest

Pulse on Boards is Envisia’s monthly conversation series created for board members, chairs and senior leaders who value depth over noise. Hosted in an intimate, carefully curated setting, each session explores the real questions shaping governance today — beyond formal agendas, presentations or public narratives.

Pulse is not about trends or prescriptions. It is about judgement, responsibility and the quality of decisions made at the top. Each event brings together experienced voices and a select audience for thoughtful dialogue, reflection and shared inquiry — the kind that rarely fits into a board agenda, yet shapes everything that follows.

Intimate • Focused • Forward-looking

The Inner Life of a Decision

This session brings together a neuroscientific perspective on how judgement is formed under pressure — with the lived experience of seasoned board leaders who have navigated complexity at the highest levels.

We are pleased to welcome:

Ana Maria Mihăescu, President @ Asociatia Castel Salbek— who will share insights from decades of experience working with boards across emerging markets, including how governance decisions are shaped by intuition, resilience and the weight of responsibility.

Carlos Davidovich, Executive Coach & Neuromanagement Expert — who will offer a unique lens on how the brain responds to ambiguity, pressure and risk, and how leaders can train for clarity under stress.

Together, they will explore how experience sharpens intuition over time, how bias and stress affect clarity, and how senior chairs navigate moments where data is incomplete but consequences are significant.

A conversation about the inner architecture of decision-making — where cognition, experience and responsibility intersect.
