The event, held between February 16-19, 2023, at the esteemed Politehnica University of Bucharest, saw the participation of 83 teams from Romania, Israel, and Montenegro. BROBOTI, representing Pitesti, faced fierce competition in the six qualifying rounds. However, their resilience, strategic acumen, and adherence to FIRST values propelled them to success, securing their qualification for the national stage.
During the regional challenge, BROBOTI collaborated seamlessly with other teams, forming alliances that not only showcased their technical prowess but also exemplified the collaborative spirit of the competition. In alliances with teams such as Qube (Bucharest), Esentza Revolution (Beclean), RoboAS (Brașov), Rodac (Brăila), Phoenix (Cluj-Napoca), and Clever Core (Baia Mare), BROBOTI not only advanced in the competition but also embodied the principles of teamwork and mutual support advocated by FIRST.
The BROBOTI team’s journey began earlier in the year, between January 26-28, when they participated in the regional stage of the Centerstage season, League Tournament #1 Bucharest. Despite facing formidable opponents, the team exhibited exceptional skills, securing the 15th rank after the qualifiers. The semi-finals brought a unique opportunity as BROBOTI accepted the proposal of Eastern Foxes to join forces in an alliance, teaming up with Quantum Robotics.
