New week, new exciting events for our team.

This time, Roweb had some special guests. A group of students from the Faculty of Automation came to visit their headquarters in Craiova.

This meeting is part of a Job Shadow Day program, an event that enables students to visit companies and discover how their employees do their day-to-day work.

Meeting the future software developers

Roweb has agreed to be part of this program because it has allowed us to meet future generations of software developers. The seven students are some young enthusiasts, passionate about coding, energetic, and ready to face the challenges of a software developer career.

The visit lasted several hours, during which Roweb’s trainers presented to them the history of the company, a part of Roweb team of experts and some of the main activities.

They also became familiar with the technologies that the Roweb team works with. The visitors were accompanied by two coordinating professors who wanted to eliminate the barriers between the theory taught in college and the practical part of the field of work.

The students also sought advice on their ongoing college projects, especially on technology integration.

It was also an opportunity for the Job Shadow Day applicants to learn the first steps in building their career in the IT industry.

Finally, their curiosity made them ask us questions about the work environment and our main projects.

Beyond the experience and knowledge, the students received small gifts from the Roweb team.
