British Football School offers professional football training in accordance with the English Football Association programs for children aged 3 to 14. We have operated for eight years providing training sessions to hundreds of children in our training centres in Bucharest as well as in Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Romania and the UK. The coaching team consists of professional British football coaches qualified by UEFA, and all trainings are conducted in English.

British Football School is a socially responsible company. We believe that every child, regardless of ability, has the right to education and physical development and we constantly strive to involve more children in football culture. Each year we undertake cultural and community projects, as well as supporting charities. This year our partner charity is the Salvation Army. For more information about the charity: armatasalvarii.ro/doneaza We are pleased to offer the BFS community of Bucharest the opportunity to participate in our British Sports Day event at “Pescariu Sport & Spa” on Saturday 26th June. The community day is an opportunity for children to participate in a small tournament, have fun with traditional British sports games, for family members to enjoy art and crafts, and a chance for the parents to socialise.
Schedule:
Opening ceremony – 11:30
Tournament 1 – 12:00-14:30 for 8-11years
Tournament 2 – 14:30-15:00 for 4-7years
Mini-matches – 15:00-15:30 for adults
Awards ceremony – 15:30
Each player will receive a certificate of participation and the winning team will have medals.
We take all precautionary measures to make sure the event is safe and for this reason we limit the participants to 100 per event. We also undertake: – Regular cleaning of all football kit and equipment – A sign-in sheet for all people who participate in our trainings, in case any close contacts with Covid positive reports need to be contacted. – Enforcing the cleaning of hands before the entering the field, either at the toilets in the venue or with the hand sanitizer at the venue entrance. – Limited physical contact between participants and the organisers. – If any children have been unwell prior to participation we require a doctors note showing good health.
Though the current time is hard with Covid, we believe a small community event would help to promote a cultural bridge between Germany and the UK. We also believe that now is the time to try and be more pragmatic and positive.
Participation fee is 50.00RON per player or free for the Wiebe community, with all profits being donated to the Salvation Army. We would be happy to welcome all the Deutsche Schule community for a fun day full of sports and football activities for children and adults on Saturday 26th June.
We look forward to hearing your positive reply and will be glad to speak more about this in person or via telephone if you wish further information.
