BRCC supports and recommends Meat Milk conference in Poiana Brasov.
Fabrica de Carne magazine (for meat specialists) and Fabrica de Lapte magazine (for dairy specialists), part of infoGROUP MEDIA INVEST from Romania organize the 4th edition of EXPO International Conference MEAT & MILK. This will take place 2-5 June 2015 at Alpin Hotel in Poiana Brasov.
Meat & Milk 2015 is the meeting place for farmers, processors and specialists in meat, milk and adjacent fields, making it possible to analyze in depth the latest domestic and international events, trying to identify solutions for “overcoming the impasse”, facilitating exchange of opinions and ideas , establish new business contacts, open new development opportunities.
Starting with 1st of June 2015, Romania will have 9% VAT on food. In this context it has already been raised a number of questions and problems.
Are there any prospects that farmers and processors have a higher production after this tax relaxation?
Consumers already claim that this VAT reduction will not be in their pockets also.
Are there any perspectives, in these conditions to witness a true increase in consumption or not?
The answer to these questions, but not only, we will find out on Thursday, June 4th, at the Round Table with the guests and participants of Meat & Milk International Expo-Conference, event that will be hosted at Hotel Alpin in Poiana Brasov, under the title’ SUPPORT POLICES, RETEHNOLOGIZATION, PERFORMANCE- priorities for overcoming the impasse.
As every business is driven by sales volume, the two-way relationship between retail and suppliers must be shaped and built on equal values, allowing both players access to profit. To what extent this partnership can be improved and how strong is the competitive position of hypermarkets in relation to producers will be key points of the debate.
