Among their lifetime memories, surrounded by their loved ones, home is the place where patients find peace and quiet for their hardest fight. However, only a few services throughout the country can provide patients with palliative care at home.
HOSPICE Casa Speranței has offered these services, free of charge, for the past 27 years. With your support, last year, our multidisciplinary team made over 15.250 free care visits at home for patients in Brașov, Bucharest, Făgăras and Zărnești. In 2018, more than 4000 patients were helped by HOSPICE.
We won’t stop in the year to come, because too many doors are waiting to be opened. Moreover, we want 2020 to be the year in which we will reopen the pediatric home care service in Bucharest, where there is currently no such team.
