The “Financial Landscape for Romania in 2025” event aims to bring together thought leaders, policymakers, industry experts, and business stakeholders to explore the evolving economic and financial ecosystem of Romania. Adriana Lobdă is a senior professional and independent NXD who champions responsible corporate governance, continuous education and business growth.
 
With more than 20 years of experience in audit and advisory services working mainly with Big 4 professional service networks, Adriana was an audit partner leading one network regional office in Romania, acting also as liaison partner with regulatory bodies and professional associations in Romania and abroad.
 
Adriana is Co-Founder of Envisia Boards of Elite, currently serving Boards of Directors of several organizations operating in areas such as financial services, telecom, education and energy, also chairing Audit Committees. She is an active and constant contributor to few organizations such as Association of Independent Directors in Romania and Professional Accountancy Education Europe, as member of Steering Committee. She has extensive training experience in financial reporting, audit, ethics and corporate governance.
 
Apart from her master’s in economics, she graduated the EMBA from ASEBUSS Bucharest/Kennesaw State University, Atlanta, as well as Master of Art in Board Practice and Directorship at Henley Business School, Reading University. She is a fellow ACCA member and licensed financial auditor.

Victor Iancu – Partner, Strategy Leader at EY Parthenon Romania

Victor started his career in 2004 as a researcher in macroeconomics at the Romanian Academy, then moved into business consultancy in 2006. For two years (2011-2012) he worked in London as a consultant for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Over the last 12 years, his work has focused on strategy projects, organizational transformation, and growth, helping clients from various industries identify new business opportunities, create and capture new sources of value, diversify products and services, differentiate in the market, or create new business models.

He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the National Institute of Economic Research at the Romanian Academy. He graduated in Law from the “Al. I Cuza” Faculty in Iași, and holds a Master’s in International Business from the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies. Among other qualifications, he has a specialization in Design Thinking and Innovation obtained from Darden School of Business, University of Virginia, and a certification in Disruptive Strategy from INSEAD.

Victor has extensive national and international experience, his projects spanning Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. He is an experienced executive and business coach, internationally certified by the International Coaching Federation.

Florin Pop – Managing Partner at Capital Decisions

Florin Pop is a seasoned banking professional with over 20 years of experience and a deep expertise in the financial sector. His skill set includes deal origination, commercial and financial due diligence, stakeholder management, credit approval, budgeting, and financial reporting.

A CFA charterholder, Florin also brings extensive capital markets expertise, with a strong focus on financial asset management, investment analysis, equity valuation, and both sector-specific and macroeconomic research.

As the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Capital Decisions, a firm specializing in Fractional CFO services, Florin provides strategic financial leadership and tailored management support to a diverse portfolio of mid-sized companies, both local and international. Together with his team at Capital Decisions, he actively supports entrepreneurs at all stages of their business journeys, recognizing the pivotal role that financial strategy plays in securing investor and creditor confidence. His mission is to bridge the gap between businesses and high-quality financial planning and analysis, enabling companies to achieve their goals in a structured, efficient, and sustainable manner.

Alexandra Caraman – Principal Banker at EBRD

Alexandra Caraman is a finance professional with over seven years of experience at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). As a Principal Banker, she has played a key role in business origination, deal execution and portfolio management, contributing to the Bank`s mission of fostering economic development through investment. Before joining EBRD, Alexandra held various roles in BRD Groupe Societe Generale, where she gained extensive experience in corporate banking. With a strong track record in structuring and managing high impact projects, Alexandra continues to drive financial solutions that support sustainable growth across the private sector.

Mircea Dumitrașcu – Partner at NOA

Mircea Dumitrașcu leads the operational management of the NOA Group and plays a key role in the development of its business lines, bringing clients extensive expertise in taxation and business consultancy. With a holistic approach, he provides strategic support to both clients and internal teams across all areas of tax practice. Over the years, Mircea has gained deep experience in all categories of domestic taxation, as well as in complex international tax matters.

With multidisciplinary leadership experience, Mircea coordinates large-scale projects in the tax-financial field, as well as in transactions and M&A operations, working closely with teams of tax consultants, lawyers, appraisers, and financial advisors.

Mircea has also been involved in projects aimed at amending tax legislation. He is frequently invited to speak at industry events and collaborates with various bilateral Chambers of Commerce to organize conferences and training sessions on tax-related topics. He is also a member of the Romanian Chamber of Tax Consultants.
