Position: BRCC Team work placement/ part time position, fixed-term (1 month)
Nr of vacancies: 2
Main Role: To assist the team in daily activities
Reporting to: Senior member of the team
Location:  BRCC offices, Bucharest & remotely
Salary: Unpaid, but we offer a referral letter after finishing the work placement
The British Romanian Chamber of Commerce is looking for an ambitious and dedicated intern who will join the BRCC Team in promoting and increasing business interaction with our members and visibility of the Chamber.
The British Romanian Chamber of Commerce is looking for an intern to assist the team with:

  • Support the team with online events/monthly events
  • Assist on events’ promotion
  • Post daily updates via social media and website and make sure we meet the designed targets
  • Support team in organizing meetings and help with administrative and logistic work
  • Respond to general commercial enquiries and update of internal databases
  • Data management and data entry
  • Create a database with local companies operating in different sectors

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Key responsibilities include:
The successful intern will need to demonstrate abilities in the following areas:

  • Delivering results –ability to prioritize different tasks; shows initiative, handle variety of tasks; works well under pressure
  • Working with others members of the team – works effectively and supportively in a team to deliver a common project; builds productive working relationships with team members
  • Learning & development – open and flexible approach to new ideas; enthusiastic about personal development
  • Good soft skills – ability to interact in an international environment with stake holders from different cultures and backgrounds

Skills required

  • Students from Economics or Business Universities, 2nd or 3rd year
  • Curiosity, motivation, and a good drive to start your career being one of our colleagues;
  • Team player, open-minded, problem solver, innovator and friendly is exactly what we look for in a colleague;
  • Volunteering activities, international experience and a great sense of humor are nice to have;
  • You are an analytical brain; you love working with and interpreting numbers and discovering trends
  • IT literate, in particular the MS Office package
  • CRM software knowledge appreciated but not mandatory
  • Fluency in English and Romanian mandatory. Language proficiency will be tested during the interview.
