As the transportation and logistics industry emerges from the global COVID-19 pandemic and the challenges it generated on the supply chain, the companies within the industry now face new challenges and an uncertain economy in 2023.

We anticipate essential changes and trends for 2023 that need to be addressed, so the managers and entrepreneurs have a clearer perspective over the nearest future.

Some of these changes and trends are:

– Logistics companies are expanding offerings and investing in smart implementations
– Companies will continue to embrace remote-work solutions
– Outsourced consultancy and IT talent will implement new technologies
– Companies will increasingly adopt advanced technologies for employee training

This event is part of a three- events serie organized together with the British Romanian Chamber of Commerce (BRCC) aiming to deliver new business approaches, forwardthinking perspectives, and visionary ideas that inspire entrepreneurs and managers to take their companies to the next level and develop in a sustainable and bright way.

“International Business For A Sustainable Future” – a series of events organized by the Supreme Council of European Business and the British Romanian Chamber of Commerce

The Supreme Council of European Business (SCEB) and the British Romanian Chamber of Commerce (BRCC) established a strategic partnership in 2023 intending to organize three regional conferences in Sibiu, Iasi, and Timișoara.

Through the events dedicated to the business environment in Romania, SCEB and BRCC have as their common objective the creation of bridges between the central and regional business communities to identify effective solutions to the increasingly complex current challenges. Together with the speakers and partners of these events, the participants will learn examples of good practices, innovative perspectives, and visionary ideas on how to approach the situations they face, generated by overlapping crises: energy, medical, and economic.

Through our honored partnership with BRCC, we want to offer our members the opportunity to connect with the regional business environment, exchange ideas and identify new approaches to the challenges they face. I also believe that entrepreneurs should build their businesses from an international perspective, which will open up new markets and opportunities for them to have companies well prepared for the future, states Mehmet Sumeroglu, SCEB Chairman.

We are honored to organize this event with our partners, The Supreme Council of European Business (SCEB), having together a beautiful community that we want to welcome with development opportunities and new perspectives regarding the near future. These events are especially aimed at managers and entrepreneurs, but it is a very good opportunity for those who want to take the company’s vision to another level, states Madalina Cîinaru, BRCC Head of the Bucharest Office.

The first event of the series – Transport & Logistics – Key Factor In International Business Development – will take place on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at the Continental Forum hotel in Sibiu and will be dedicated both to companies in the transport and logistics industry and to other companies in related fields. The choice of the theme was motivated by the anticipation of this year’s changes that we believe must be addressed so that managers and entrepreneurs have a clearer perspective on which strategies might be suitable for their businesses.
