After 15 years abroad, first in the US and the last 7 and a half years in London working in the investment banking industry where he delivered several major transformation initiatives, Mihai has returned to Bucharest in February 2018 to join a global advisory business, EY, leveraging his international experience for the development of the local financial services practice. Since May 2020, he has become EY’s Business Transformation Director, in charge of reshaping the firm in light of the new ways of working. Besides EY, Mihai is also involved in a startup company in Romania in the fast-growing craft beer industry and is also involved as an associate teacher for FABIZ Master’s programme at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest. Having lived both in the UK and Romania, Mihai can easily relate to both cultures and understand the various needs of the diverse BRCC member companies.
