The FCO has recently launched a new Recruitment Software website where candidates may apply online for Local Staff vacancies.
This new system aims to modernise and professionalise all the stages of the recruitment process. This new method will help deliver fairer and more consistent processes globally, ensuring we attract and select the best candidates for local staff roles.
The adverts for all processes from now on will appear in a different format – no longer in pdf – and will be accessible through a link (‘cloud based’ software), where candidates may apply online. This will serve to reduce pressure on FCO IT and servers.
In addition, all information from CVs will appear in a standard format on the application form. The application form will allow internal candidates to register their current FCO employment status and will therefore allow recruiters identify all internal applications more easily.
